I was spring cleaning the other day, to remove cobwebs from high ceilings so I got the ladder, setting it up, climbing up to dust...but it was hard for me to reach, how I wish I can stack the chairs up...
I really like the idea you had for this piece. It was really cute. And thanx for the comment on mine. As an answer to your question, I just used photoshop to create the cut-paper look.
At the turn of the century, the Choo family led a typical middle class life in Singapore. Calvin was a "weekend husband-father", who had to travel extensively for work. Serline was a fashion designer/merchandiser, who gave up her career to be full time mistress of the house. Janelle and Andre went to a renowned school in the neighbourhood. They lived in a semi-detached house in Pemimpin Place, where their dogs - Snowy and Ringo - could roam freely in the garden. Then they decided to make some changes, so that they could spend more time together as a family. Calvin accepted a job within the hospitality industry, and the family moved to Phuket in 2007. One year later, Narelle was born. In August 2009, the family moved to Bangkok, where Calvin oversaw the contact centre, as well as the hospitality staff at various resorts; he has recently moved to a similar position at another company. Janelle and Andre are in Year 12 and 10, respectively, at the Regent's School Bangkok campus. Because of Snowy and Ringo, there are some limitations to where they can live in Bangkok, but they have settled comfortably into President Park.
